GENERAL JOB
Security Support Services (SECA) is responsible for assisting security managers by receiving visitors and escorting non-cleared personnel into the Avionics Complex and assuring proper security requirements have been met. The Security Assistants (SEASST) will monitor and implement established security policies and procedures to all management and personnel concerning security programs.
Essential Primary Job Functions

Assist security managers by receiving visitors.

Escort non-cleared personnel into the Avionics Complex.

Monitor and implement established security policies and procedures to all management and personnel concerning security programs.

Perform a variety of functions, such as but not limited to, creating, developing, and distributing access badges, authorizing access, maintaining security requirements in a security database.

Perform in/out processing of personnel, maintain visit request from outsiders, monitor entry and exit doors, turnstiles, and automated gates for malfunctions.
Secondary Primary Job Functions

May be required to train other Security Assistants and government personnel in the proper use, safe design, and improvements required for sustaining the support of Security Services.

Maintain safe and clean working environment and comply with all applicable security and safety regulations and OSHA standards.

Education and Experience for Security Services Assistant (SECA)

Must possess a valid Secret Security Clearance adjudicated in the last five (5) years.

Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.

Experience is preferred but not required in the following skills: working as a security assistant and monitor, escorting un-cleared personnel, monitoring entry and exit doors, turnstiles, and automated gates for malfunctions.
Education and Experience for Security Assistant (SEASST)

Must be a United States Citizen with a valid passport.

Must possess a valid Secret Security Clearance adjudicated in the last five (5) years.

Must have a High School Diploma or GED.

Must have at least one year of experience as a security assistant and monitor with knowledge of OPSEC, Personnel, and Industrial Security Programs.

Must have the ability to perform a variety of functions, such as but not limited, to creating, developing, and distributing access badges, authorizing access, and maintaining security requirements in a security database, performing in/out processing of personnel, maintaining visit request from outsiders, monitoring entry and exit doors, turnstiles, and automated gates for malfunctions.

Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics are representative of those performing essential functions of the job in an industrial production and repair environment and general office setting. Must be able to work sitting or standing. · May be required to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted. Minor cuts and scrapes are to be expected. Possible minor burns or shock from operating electrical equipment and or soldering equipment may be present. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) shall be expected to be worn and used when required. Standard work week generally applies; however, candidate will be expected to work as the requirement dictates.
